Your regular monthly gift will allow ANTaR to plan ahead and continue its vital work on Indigenous Rights. Monthly donations also reduce our administrative costs and allow more money to be spend where it is needed - on our critical campaign areas.

What does ANTaR use its donations for?

Currently, ANTaR is using donations to help support our critical advocacy areas such ast he First 100 Days campaign, the Close the Gap and Stolen Wages campaigns. Find out more about ANTaR's campaigns.

A snapshot: The First 100 Days campaign

Decisions about the direction of government policy, including actions which will affect Indigenous Australians, will largely be made in the first 100 days of government.

ANTaR needs your support to show the newly-elected Labor government that justice for Indigenous people matters to all Australians.

We are currently seeking to support a delegation of key Indigenous leaders to Canberra to present ANTaR's Seven Steps for Justice platform along with the supporting pledges from ANTaR supporters. We will also continue to lobby and build public support during the crucial first 100 days of power and beyond.

In order to achieve what we set out to do 10 years ago, we will be speaking with politicians of all stripes because it is vital that all sides agree in principle to our Seven Steps, and then actually move to implement them, swiftly and effectively.

Indigenous Australians can wait no longer. Only with your support can we build the momentum needed to make this possible. As an ANTaR supporter, you will receive information from ANTaR on key campaign areas and invitations to upcoming events so you can remain up-to-date with ANTaR's activities.

Tax-deductibility

ANTaR is an independent, non-party political organisation that relies almost entirely on donations from the public to continue its work. In this way, ANTaR's advocacy and voice remain strong and focussed on evidence and human rights.

Currently, the Australian Government does not allow not-for-profits that are primarily engaged in advocacy activities to have tax-deductible status. Although your donations to ANTaR are not tax-deductable, you can also be sure that ANTaR remains politically independent in supporting Indigenous peoples' fight for justice in Australia.
