Merchandise Assistant
ANTaR is currently looking for a volunteer Merchandise Assistant to help us with our catalogue. Our catalogue is an important source of fundraising for ANTaR.
This position will be based in our Sydney office.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the volunteer, are:
- taking orders over the phone;
- fulfilling orders received by phone, fax and in the post in a timely manner
- receipting and invoicing of orders
- monitoring stock
- preparing for stalls
- coordinating with other stall holders
Selection criteria
ANTaR will select a volunteer based on the following selection criteria:
- ability to work well both in a team and alone
- courteous telephone manner
- excellent attention to detail
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- experience in receipting and invoicing is advantageous but not essential
- a strong commitment to Indigenous peoples' rights
Other information
- This role is ongoing, and as such we request that the volunteer commits to this role for a minimum of six months. Hours will be flexible however we request that volunteers commit to spending a minimum of half a day once a week (Mon-Fri) in our office.
- ANTaR does not have the capacity to give remuneration to volunteers, including travel or meal allowances.
