Website Officer
The volunteer Website Officer will be engaged to write and update content on the ANTaR website.
The volunteer will have the choice to determine his or her own working hours, although we would like the volunteer to be available for at least two consecutive hours each week.
Aims and responsibilities
The responsibilities of the volunteer are:
- to update content on ANTaR’s website (http://www.antar.org.au) such as media releases, using our Content Management System, Drupal (technical knowledge of Drupal is not required)
- to rewrite campaign content so that it is appropriately written for the web, and is engaging to visitors
Selection criteria
ANTaR will select a volunteer based on the following selection criteria:
- ability to work well in a team
- excellent attention to detail
- excellent written communication skills
- confidence and experience in writing for the web
- a strong commitment to Indigenous peoples' rights
Other information
- This role is ongoing, and as such we request that the volunteer commits to this role for a minimum of six months.
- The volunteer can either work from ANTaR's offices in Rozelle or from home.
- The volunteer will report to ANTaR’s Campaigns Manager.
- ANTaR does not have the capacity to give remuneration to volunteers, including travel or meal allowances.
